I’m thrilled you're considering joining the Pilates Apprenticeship Training at Face + Body Studio. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training over 40 successful instructors, many of whom have gone on to teach, open their own studios, and thrive in the fitness industry. Training trainers is my passion, and I’d love to support you on your journey. About Me I began my Pilates journey in 2004 at Pilates Plus LA with Sebastian Legree, followed by a two-year apprenticeship with Dr. Stephen Gavin of Live Well LA. I opened my first studio in 2008 and have continued to evolve my teaching style, blending classical technique (through my studies with BASI Pilates) with a more progressive, dynamic approach that our clients truly love. You will learn the perfect 55-minute challenging "bootcamp style" class with which I opened over ten studios. This method is powerful, efficient, and rooted in both intelligent sequencing and a passion for results. How the Apprenticeship Works This hands-on, Reformer-based training program is built on a balance of education, practice, and mentorship. You'll learn in a real studio environment with real clients, preparing you for the kind of teaching that makes an impact. Step 1: Foundation Classes – 30 Hours Before formal training begins, you’ll complete 30 Reformer classes at Face + Body Studio to immerse yourself in our movement philosophy and studio culture. Instructor Class Pass: $99 for 30 days — a discounted rate designed to help you complete your 30 class hours affordably Once you’ve completed these classes and start the apprenticeship, Reformer classes become complimentary Training Program Schedule – 220 Total Hours Pre-Requisite Class Participation: 30 Hours Attend and participate in 30 Reformer classes. Instructors will sign off on your participation after each class.
